Certified Organic Cold Pressed Rice Bran Oil. Can you please review this product and rank it accordingly?

QUESTION:

Can you please review this product and rank it accordingly? I’m keen to know if it passes your stringent tests. We don’t normally use rice bran oil but this might be a good alternative for seasoning my cast iron pans and very occasional deep frying.

ANSWER:

I haven’t reviewed the oil category as yet, so unable to provide full rankings. However, the fact that the oil is pressed, filtered and organic is a great start.

I would still be uncertain as to whether any processing aids were used (and not declared) without confirming this with the manufacturer. Being an Indian manufacturer this is definitely more difficult to accomplish.

I wouldn’t hesitate using it for seasoning of pans, it is very low risk.
